What Happens If You Don’t Retest After Your Vehicle Fails the Test.
Owners are required to make the repairs recommended by the inspection inspector and have their vehicles retested within 30 days if their car didn’t pass the RTA vehicle test. And these are some of the risks if you do not retest:
Road usage charge: For each extra day that the vehicle is not renewed, the RTA vehicle licensing department will impose a monetary fine on the customer.
If your car is unregistered, you won’t be able to renew it.
